My Life: I’m a husband to Jenni, father to Chance & Paxton, and most of all, a son to a loving and gracious God. I fell for a beautiful girl from Bellevue, Washington when I was 24 and married her at 25. We divorced our old marriage in April 2009 and began a painful renewal process so we could begin a new life together that was much healthier. There were six months of pain, joy, conflict and resolution to get us ready for our new marriage. Our 2nd wedding was on May 22nd 2010 and our love for each other continues to blossom.
You can read more about our story here.
My Profession: I am an unlikely sales guy. Introverted 98% of the time but yet, somehow, I chose one of the most challenging careers available. Although much of my career has been as a mortgage banker it still requires a high degree of interaction with people. Initially I was drawn to sales for money. I have stayed in sales because I can sell things that really make a difference for people or businesses and it gives me flexibility. I love having a flexible schedule so I can be with my family or take a long lunch with a friend. It allows me to do things like coaching and ministry while still earning a decent income.
Jenni and I also do marriage coaching together and we each coach for People Of The Second Chance on a regular basis.
Blogger: I used to blog and I will again. My blog will be a mix of my business interests and life/ministry stuff that comes up. If it weren’t for Jenni (www.jenniclayville.com), strongly encouraging me to blog I probably would have never started. She’s a HUGE blogger with real life followers and insists that I express myself more openly with the World. So… here I am.
